Arg-C Zero
Arginyl endopeptidases (Arg-C) cleave specifically at the C-terminus of Arginine residues. Our novel sequencing grade Arg-C Zero™ is a high-fidelity enzyme that can achieve close to 0% missed cleavage rates. It is the perfect protease for many proteomic applications. Originally identified as a virulence factor from Porphyromonas gingivalis, Arg-C Zero delivers complete digestion of your protein mixture, ensuring reproducibility and accurate results across experiments. Arg-C Zero is produced recombinantly using Escherichia coli to high purity and compatible for mass spectrometry-based proteomic analysis.
Product Details
Arg-C Zero [KPL0146] is a sequencing-grade Arginyl endopeptidase that cleaves specifically at the C-terminus of Arginine residues. Engineered for high fidelity, Arg-C Zero delivers nearly 0% missed cleavage rates, making it ideal for a wide range of proteomic applications.
Originally identified as a virulence factor from Porphyromonas gingivalis, Arg-C Zero ensures complete digestion of protein mixtures, leading to reproducibility and accurate results across multiple experiments. Produced recombinantly in Escherichia coli, Arg-C Zero achieves high purity and is fully compatible with mass spectrometry-based proteomics analysis.
Experimental conditions: 20µg HeLa digest, Arg-C Zero to total protein ratio of 1:50 in 50mM HEPES pH 8.5 buffer, 5mM DTT. Sample digested overnight at 37°C and analyzed using LC/MS/MS.
